What is Community reset?

Community Reset is a monthly initiative by Rage Cage Joliet that provides selected individuals with a free rage room experience as a positive outlet for stress, frustration, grief, anxiety, and life's challenges.

The goal isn't simply to break things, it's to help people reset, regroup, and move forward.


Our Mission

At Rage Cage Joliet, we believe everyone deserves a chance to release what they're carrying in a safe and controlled environment.

Whether someone is dealing with:

  • Grief
  • Bullying
  • Anxiety
  • Anger
  • Family hardships
  • Personal setbacks
  • Life transitions

Community Reset offers an opportunity to let go of some of that weight in a constructive setting.


Who Can Be Referred?

Referrals may come from:

  • Teachers
  • School counselors
  • Principals
  • Social workers
  • Therapists
  • Police officers
  • First responders
  • Pastors
  • Coaches
  • Parents or guardians
  • Community organizations

Anyone who knows someone who could genuinely benefit from a positive outlet.

Sometimes people don't need someone to fix every problem.

Sometimes they just need:

  • Someone to notice them.
  • Someone to believe in them.
  • A healthy outlet.
  • A fresh start.

Community Reset exists to remind people that one difficult season does not define the rest of their life.

Our Promise

Community Reset is not therapy or counseling, nor is it a substitute for mental health treatment. It is a supervised recreational experience designed to provide a safe, structured way to release stress while fostering encouragement and connection.



How it Works

  1. A referral is submitted.
  2. Rage Cage reviews the nomination.
  3. Rage Cage selects 3 participants a month to take part in the opportunity. Selected participants are contacted.
  4. Sessions are booked for a date and time that is convenient for the participants' schedule and within business operating hours.
  5. Waivers are completed.
  6. Participants attend a free Community Reset session.
  7. They leave knowing someone in their community believes in them.
